Code of Princess EX

(Switch)

This is an action role-playing game in which players help a princess and her allies restore a kingdom overrun by monsters. As players traverse side-scrolling levels, they use swords, knives, and magic spells to defeat enemy soldiers and fantastical creatures in melee-style combat. Battle cries, impact sounds, and colorful explosions occur throughout; the action is occasionally highlighted by zoomed-in camera angles. During the course of the game, some female characters are depicted in revealing outfits with partially exposed cleavage and/or buttocks; when standing idle, one character's breasts bounce up and down.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

(PS4, PC)

This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of a hero who must defeat an evil force in the land of Erdrea. From a third-person perspective, players explore towns, complete quests, and battle fantastical creatures to advance the storyline. Combat is turn-based, with players selecting attack moves/skills/items from a menu; on-screen characters perform short animations for each action, using swords, crossbows, and magic spells to defeat enemies. Cutscenes sometimes depict characters getting impaled; a handful of scenes depict dead soldiers on the ground. One enemy is called “Bloody Hand,” and is represented by a disembodied hand dripping with red, slime-like blood. The game contains some suggestive material: female characters wearing low-cut tops or bunny outfits; male characters caught with “girlie magazines”; innuendo in the dialogue. During the course of the game, characters can enter a casino and bet tokens on games such as slot machines, roulette, and poker. Some characters are depicted drunk in pubs and/or party environments. Players have the ability to acquire horse manure as in inventory item; one cutscene depicts a character placing a lump of feces in a creature's hand.

The Banner Saga 3

(PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC)

This is a strategy role-playing game in which players lead a caravan of warriors battling evil forces that threaten the world. From a ¾ overhead perspective, players can position characters around a grid-based area to fight enemies in turn-based combat. Characters use swords, axes, arrows, and magic attacks to defeat enemies. Battles are highlighted by cries of pain, impact sounds, and blood-splatter effects. One battle sequence depicts a character getting his arm chopped off. Game text includes references to mead and drunkenness; certain drinking items provide a morale boost for players' caravan.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection

(PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC)

Rating: Teen

This is a collection of four games from the Mega Man X game series in which players assume the role of the robotic hero X as he battles evil forces. Players use an arm-canon and robotic upgrades to blast their way through futuristic landscapes and defeat enemies and boss characters. Battles are accompanied by large explosions, impact sounds, and cries of pain. The collection includes clips from an animated movie/series depicting dramatic instances of violence and blood: a robot impaled though the chest with a laser sword; a robotic figure dismembered with a sword strike; blood sprays as characters are slashed and killed; blood on robotic characters' hands and around slain bodies. In one menu screen, a female character wears a bikini that reveals large amounts of cleavage.

Sleep Tight

(Switch, PC)

Rating: Everyone 10 and up

This unique twin-stick shooter, base-builder hybrid comes wrapped in blankets of nostalgia! Construct your strongest pillow fort during the day and defend your bedroom from endless hordes of monsters each night. This fast paced arcade style game packs some deep strategy, and you’ll need to use your wits if you’re going to survive to the top of the leaderboards. With 12 unlockable characters, mix and match playstyles, an abundance of silly monsters, a charming score, and an endless amount of nights that increase in difficulty as you progress, good luck putting Sleep Tight down to rest!

This is a first-person shooter in which players set out to destroy an alien armada that has taken over Earth. Players can craft guns and acquire melee weapons to use in frenetic gunfights against a variety of robotic enemies. Battles are highlighted by “bullet-hell” style volumes of projectiles and frequent explosions. Enemies include multi-missile turrets, running droids, and a mobile wall of cannons.

Pool Panic

Rating: Everyone 10 and up

Content Descriptors: Crude Humor, Fantasy Violence

Pool Panic frees billiards from the table and unleashes it into a world where everything from jungles and deserts to cities and swamps is a living pool game! 20XX is a roguelike action platformer that you can play with a friend. Jump and shoot your way through ever-changing levels, collect awesome new powers, and battle mighty bosses in the name of saving the human race maybe!

MXGP Pro

This is a motorcycle racing simulation game in which players can compete in motocross world championship events. Players can ride single races or embark on a career to attempt to win the tournament.

Shining Resonance Refrain

(PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC)

This is a role-playing game in which players control young fighters through a fictional continent called Alfheim. As players explore fantasy kingdoms and interact with townspeople and royalty, they perform quests and battle enemies in melee combat. Characters mostly use swords and magic spells to defeat dragons, demons, and enemy soldiers in frenetic battles. Combat is highlighted by light effects, impact sounds, and cries of pain. The game contains some suggestive material: a mission in which party members dress in bikinis to advertise for a client; characters wearing low-cut tops that reveal swaying/jiggling cleavage; a hot-springs sequence depicting topless characters, with their breasts covered by water (no nipple detail). One town person, labeled “drunk man,” briefly discusses drinking sake; another character appears intoxicated from a "juice." Swear words appear in the dialog.

Earthfall

This a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of survivors battling alien creatures through the towns and wilderness of the Pacific Northwest. Players use pistols, chain guns, machine guns, and explosives to kill alien creatures in frenetic combat. Enemies frequently emit large splashes of alien blood when shot and killed; red blood splatter is occasionally depicted on the floors and walls of some environments. Swear words are heard in the dialogue.

Hotel Transylvania 3: Monsters Overboard

This is an adventure game in which players assume the role of characters from the movie Hotel Transylvania 3. Players explore island environments, command small impa creatures to perform tasks, and engage in battles with fantastical enemies (e.g., giant crabs, carnivorous flowers, ire lizards). During battle, impas cry out when struck, flower creatures emit green sap, and vampires get dizzy and eventually fall over. Boss battles depict enemies using toxic gas or large streams of fire to attack the player and their impas.

Octopath Traveler

Red Faction: Guerrilla Remastered

This is a third-person shooter in which players assume the role of a resistance fighter (Alex Mason) fighting for freedom on Mars. Players explore open-world environments, complete mission objectives, and use a variety of weapons to kill enemy soldiers. Some sequences allow players to pilot mech suits and operate turrets to defeat enemy forces; players can also kill non-adversary characters/civilians, though this may negatively affect progress and colonist morale. Battles are frenetic with realistic gunfire, large explosions, and blood-splatter effects that stain the environment. Swear words are heard in the dialogue.

Characters use guns, axes, fireballs, and other magic attacks to kill enemies in frenetic combat. Enemies explode into blood and chunks of flesh when killed. Several environments depict large bloodstains and limbless corpses.
