Generation Zero

This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of survivors fighting against machines intent on killing them. Set in 1989 Sweden, the game allows players to explore an open-world environment and use an assortment of firearms to destroy mechanical walkers and other robotic creatures. Firefights are frenetic and accompanied by realistic gunfire and large explosions. Swear words appear in the game.

MLB The Show 19 

(PS4)

Rating: Everyone

This is a baseball simulation game in which players compete with Major League Baseball teams in a number of different modes: Franchise, Road to the Show, Diamond Dynasty, Home Run Derby. Players can adjust an athlete's power and precision while pitching or batting, and can initiate defensive strategies while fielding.

Nelke & The Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World 

(PS4, Switch)

Rating: Eveyone 10 and up

Content Descriptors: Alcohol Reference, Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, Suggestive Themes

This is a role-playing game in which players follow alchemists as they collect/create resources to build a town. Players engage in various missions that include battling monsters in turn-based combat. Characters use swords, pistols, and magic staffs to attack fantasy creatures. Some female characters wear low-cut outfits that reveal moderate amounts of cleavage. Characters occasionally discuss alcohol and a drinking contest; one sequence involves characters building a giant wine barrel for townspeople to drink from. The words damn and hell appear in the dialogue.

Yoshi's Crafted World 

(Switch)

Rating: Everyone

Content Descriptors: Mild Cartoon Violence

This is a platformer game in which players control Yoshi through whimsical levels while trying to recover valuable items. Players traverse paper and cardboard platforms and defeat enemies by jumping on their heads or throwing eggs to knock them off screen. Some enemies drop cartoony bombs or briefly chase Yoshi with a tinfoil axe.

Tropico 6 

(PS4, Xbox One, PC)

Rating: Teen

Content Descriptors: Drug Reference, Mild Language, Violence

This is a strategy game in which players rule the nation of Tropico by tending to citizens' needs while also navigating politics among foreign powers. As dictator, players can order their officers to assassinate rebellious citizens. Players can also command soldiers and tanks to quash rebel uprisings or protests; these conflicts are accompanied by realistic gunfire and/or small explosions. As players progress through the game, they can mandate policies that include legalizing substances that are referred to in text as “illegal drugs.” Swear words appear in the game.

This is a sports simulation game in which players engage in obstacle courses from the TV show American Ninja Warrior. Players use timed button presses to move their character through each event and can earn points by having the fastest completion time.

Fate Extella Link 

(PS4, Switch)

Content Descriptors: Fantasy Violence, Language, Suggestive Themes

This is an adventure game in which players assume the role of a ruler of a virtual world who must defend it from invading forces. Players engage in hack-and-slash combat across large battlefields, using swords, spears, and staffs to battle hordes of robotic enemies and humans. Battles are frenetic with explosions, colorful light effects, and screen-shaking effects; enemies quickly disappear from the battlefield when defeated. The game contains some suggestive material: female characters/creatures wearing outfits that reveal large amounts of cleavage; camera pans that focus on female characters' buttocks and/or breasts. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a disgraced shinobi on a quest to rescue his kidnapped lord in ancient Japan. Players use swords and a prosthetic arm to battle members of an enemy clan and supernatural demons in frenetic combat. Large blood-splatter effects occur as enemies are killed; some attacks result in decapitation and/or dismemberment. Cutscenes depict additional acts of violence: a man impaled through the chest with a sword; a child stabbed with a sword off screen.

The Division 2 

(PS4, Xbox One, PC)

This is a tactical third-person shooter in which players assume the role of an elite government agent battling hostile factions in a fictionalized Washington D.C. Players use machine guns, sniper rifles, and explosives to kill waves of enemy soldiers/thugs in frenetic combat. Firefights are highlighted by realistic gunfire, cries of pain, and blood-splatter effects. Cutscenes depict instances of intense violence: characters shot in the head at close range; a restrained character struck repeatedly with a hammer. A fictional drug called Spice is prevalent in the game, as well as other drug references: bags of Spice, drug labs, drug-making paraphernalia depicted; the words "Drug Kitchen" written on some walls. Swear words appear in the dialogue. 

One Piece: World Seeker 

(PS4, Xbox One, PC)

Rating: Teen

This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of Monkey D. Luffy as he battles pirates and naval officers in the One Piece universe. From a third-person perspective, players travel around an island and punch, kick, and “shoot” their fists at various enemies. Combat is frenetic, highlighted by impact sounds, light effects, and cries of pain. Some female characters wear low-cut tops that expose large amounts of cleavage; one character's breasts often jiggle. The dialogue also contains suggestive material. During the course of the game, characters are sometimes depicted with cigars or cigarettes in their mouths.

Left Alive 

(PS4, PC)

This is a third-person shooter in which players assume the roles of three characters trying to escape a war zone. Players perform stealth tactics/moves against soldiers patrolling buildings and battlefields; players also engage in frenetic gun battles using a variety of weapons. Cutscenes sometimes depict soldiers executing restrained and/or unarmed civilians; a handful of scenes depict characters being shot in the head at close range. One dramatic sequence depicts a young girl cutting her own throat. Blood-splatter effects occur during gameplay, and bloodstains can be seen in several environments. During the course of the game, players' character can acquire and drink vodka, causing a temporary screen-blur/distortion effect. Swear words appear in the dialogue.

The Occupation

This is an adventure game in which players assume the role of a journalist investigating the events surrounding a dangerous explosion. From a first-person perspective, players search for clues and interview characters to learn about the incident. A handful of scenes reference deceased characters; during one sequence, a woman discusses her husband, wondering “did he suffer?” Characters are sometimes shown smoking cigarettes; players' character can pick up cigarettes and smoke them from a first-person perspective. The dialogue makes occasional references to wine, and one prolonged scene depicts a character pouring glasses of bourbon to make a toast.

This is an arcade-style baseball game in which players compete with Major League Baseball players/teams. Players can pitch, field or bat, and participate in various game modes (e.g., Season, Franchise, Home Run Derby).

Devil May Cry 5

This is an action game in which players follow the story of three heroes in their quest to save the world from demons. From a third-person perspective, players use swords, guns, and special attacks to kill hordes of demons in frenetic combat. Battles are highlighted by gunfire, screams of pain, and slow-motion finishing moves/highlights. One cutscene depicts civilians screaming in pain while being impaled by demon tentacles. Blood appears frequently during combat and stains several environments. Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn

This is a side-scrolling platformer in which players control Kirby, a small character made of yarn, through whimsical environments. Players traverse platforms, collect beads and treasure, and sometimes engage in brief combat with enemy characters.
