This is a racing simulation game in which players compete with real-world cars at the fictional Horizon Festival in Australia. Players compete with real-world cars in various events (e.g., Circuit, Cross-Country, Point-to-Point) throughout the open-world environment. In some multiplayer game modes (e.g., King and Infected), players are encouraged to collide with other racers; damage to cars from bumps/crashes is minimal. Yo-Kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits/Fleshy Souls

This is a role-playing game in which players help a young boy regain his lost memories. As players traverse around a city, they can identify and interact with ghost-like creatures (Yo-Kai) and use them in turn-based combat against other creatures. Yo-Kai can use various attacks (e.g., punches, sword slashes, magic spells) to drain opponents' life meters; colorful light effects, smacking/zapping sounds, and depleting hit points indicate damage during battles. A handful of sequences also depict violent acts: a cat hit by a truck; a child beaten up by bullies. The game includes several depictions and references to bodily functions: a Yo-Kai called Snotsolong with mucous dripping from its nose; Yo-Kai (Cuttincheez and Cheeksqueek) with buttocks for heads that use flatulence-like attacks; dialogue that states, “It smells a little like my farts. . .” and “I mean, if it were my farts that had made this smoke. . . You'd have been knocked out!”

This is a flight simulation game in which players pilot realistic war planes in combat missions during World War II and Vietnam War. Players participate in dogfights, bombing raids, torpedo runs, and other aerial missions. Players use machine guns and bombs to destroy enemy targets and kill enemy soldiers on the ground. Battles are highlighted by realistic gunfire and fiery plane crashes. Small blood-splatter effects are occasionally depicted on the cockpit screen and on the ground. The words “bastard” and “b*tch” can be heard in the dialogue.

Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors

This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of a student recruited to battle ghosts for a mysterious corporation. Players interact with characters by making choices based on emotions and the five senses. Cutscenes also depict acts of violence: a student jumping off a building (her corpse is briefly depicted); a character shot at close range. Here are the new releases Sept 13th 2016. There are 4 games getting HD remakes. An HD remake is taking an old game and updating with new graphics.
BioShock: The Collection
(Xbox One, PS4, PC) These are old games getting a HD remake.
Rating: Mature

This is a collection of three first-person shooters in which players assume the role of characters uncovering the mysteries behind the dystopian societies of Rapture and Columbia. As players explore each city, they use shotguns, machine guns, rivet guns, and rocket launchers to kill mutated citizens and enemy soldiers. Players can also use special powers (e.g., telekinesis, fire blasts, electric bolts) to kill enemies as well as a three-pronged hook to dismember and decapitate them. Large blood-splatter effects occur as enemies are injured; pools of blood can be seen around corpses. Cutscenes also depict intense acts of violence: characters shot in the head at close range; a woman smothered to death with a pillow; a man impaled by a drill; a character nearly lobotomized with surgical tools. The game references sexual material in the dialogue (e.g., “I think yeh gave me the clap, ya dirty boy,” “Gonorrhea! This is an action-horror game in which players assume the role of Frank West, a photojournalist trapped in a mall overrun by zombies. As players traverse through the mall, they help other survivors to safety and use variety of weapons (e.g., firearms, swords) and tools (e.g., chainsaws, giant drills, lawnmowers) to kill hordes of zombies and, occasionally, humans. Red blood-splatter effects occur frequently as zombies are dismembered and decapitated. Cutscenes also depict intense instances of violence: a clown landing on a pair of chainsaws; a man shooting himself in the head; zombies ripping chunks of flesh off a character's body. During the course of the game, players' character can drink various alcoholic beverages (e.g., wine) to regain energy; players also encounter a drunken character along the way. MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death

This is a role-playing game in which players help young mages on a quest to save a planet from eternal night. Players explore labyrinths and engage in turn-based combat against fantasy creatures (e.g., slime, gargoyles, giant squid). Players use mechanized guardians that perform a variety of weapon attacks and magic spells (e.g., magma hands, missile barrages, fire balls) to defeat enemies; battles are accompanied by colorful light effects, impact sounds, and cries of pain. In this hockey simulation game, players can select teams from NHL rosters and play realistically depicted games of hockey. During the course of each match, players may initiate brief fistfights; the perspective shifts to isolate two players throwing punches and grabbing at one another until the fight is broken up.

This is a stylized version of the classic Pac-Man arcade game. Players navigate through different mazes and avoid cartoonlike ghosts while eating dots, power pellets, and fruit.

Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness

This is a visual novel in which players follow the story of two detectives investigating crimes in a futuristic city. Players watch events as they unfold and make decisions that affect the storyline. Some action choices result in off-screen characters being killed by laser blasts. Violence is also described in text (e.g., “All I heard was the crackling of the flames as they consumed my body” and “A direct hit. . . Her body swelled then burst. Well, most of it. Some parts remained. Like her hands. . .”). One sequence depicts an injured character lying in a pool of blood after a bomb explosion. The game contains some suggestive material: female characters in outfits that depict large amounts of cleavage; dialogue/text that states, “He said he should've at least had sex with her, then he laughed and looked all creepy” and “Ahh Nadeshiko, your large, beautiful chest looks so good in this dress.” A storyline in the game revolves around the use and abuse of fictional drugs; the dialogue/text includes several references to such drugs (e.g., "A cocktail? This is a fighting game in which players choose from a selection of flying female characters to compete in one-on-one battles. From a top-down perspective, players shoot magical bullets and energy blasts to deplete opponents' life meter. Battles are frenetic and are accompanied by frequent laser-fire effects and colorful explosions. One still-image screen depicts a character holding a glass of beer and drinking from a sake bowl. I justed wanted to do a little about me and why i started this blog.

I'm a stay at home dad with my two kids. I have been in to video games all my life. My brother got a Nintendo after I was born. I live in the Madison, WI area.

The reason I started this blog is to inform parents of what there kids are playing and issues with video games. I am just trying to help people understand video games.
