Video Game New Releases Nov 1st 2016

Here is the list for the new releases for video games this week. It is a pretty short list and the next few months will be short every week. I just want to say THANK YOU for checking out the blog. I can not tell how much I appreciate it every week.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

(Xbox One, PS4, PC)
Rating: Mature
Content Descriptors: Blood and Gore, Drug Reference, Intense Violence, Strong Language
This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of a futuristic military unit. Players use machine guns, pistols, shotguns, grenade launchers to kill robots and soldiers amid futuristic urban environments. Action is frenetic, with frequent gunfire, explosions, cries of pain, and blood-splatter effects. Some attacks allow players to blow up enemies or blow off their arms or legs. A handful of cutscenes depict figures being beaten, tortured, or stabbed; some stabbings are depicted fairly close up. During the course of the game, players can select emblems from a menu screen for character/team customization; a few emblems are suggestive of marijuana. The words “f**k” and “sh*t” appear in the dialogue.

Football Manager 2017
(PC)
Rating: Everyone
This is a sports simulation game in which players select and manage real soccer teams from clubs and leagues around the world. Players must make managerial decisions that include negotiating contracts, handling staff, and developing the team's tactics and strategies

Mario Party Star Rush
(3DS)
Content Descriptors: Mild Cartoon Violence
This is a collection of mini-games in which players compete against characters from the Mario universe to collect the most stars. As players move around game boards, they compete in mini-games to earn coins and recruit partners. A handful of mini-games depict characters shooting "cartoony" cannonballs at moving targets/enemies and boss characters; enemies generally disappear amid puffs of smoke when hit.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization
(PS4, Vita)
Rating: Teen
Content Descriptors: Drug Reference, Mild Language, Partial Nudity, Suggestive Themes, Violence
This is a role-playing game in which players explore a fantasy world with a group of friends and their avatars. As players explore environments and interact with characters, they can perform quests and engage in battles with humans and creatures (e.g., giant animals, dragons). Players use swords, spears, maces, and magic attacks to battle enemies in melee-style combat. Battles are highlighted by cries of pain, impact sounds, and light effects. Some female characters wear outfits that reveal large amounts of cleavage. One scene depicts a still image of a character grabbing a female character's breast after a fall; another scene depicts a partially nude character in the bath with her breasts and genitalia covered by bubbles. Characters sometimes discuss an enemy's use and addiction to “digital drugs” (e.g., “Seems like this digital drug takes a pretty serious toll on people who use it too much,“ and "He's been chasing the digital drug high.”). The words “bastard,” and “a*s” appear in the dialogue.
