Blue Reflection

This is a role-playing game in which players control a high-school girl who gains new abilities as she travels through a fantastical world. Players interact with other students, accept missions, and engage in turn-based battles against various monsters. Characters use swords and magic staffs/objects to defeat enemies; damage is indicated by grunts of pain and small explosions/light effects. The game contains some suggestive material: female students undergoing brief transformations that briefly depict them partially nude; characters depicted showering in stalls, with their nipples and genitalia obscured; dialogue referencing characters' breast size or panties. Swear words appears in the dialogue.

Hob

Raid: World War 2

This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of soldiers for hire through covert military missions in Germany during WWII. Players use shotguns, rifles, and machine guns to kill enemy soldiers as they infiltrate enemy bases and strongholds. Firefights are frenetic and accompanied by realistic gunfire, large explosions, and screams of pain. Swear words are heard in the dialogue.


Ruiner

Cuphead

Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.

Play as Cuphead or Mugman as you traverse strange worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets while you try to pay your debt back to the devil!

This is a soccer simulation game in which players engage in realistic matches with teams across international leagues. Players can practice penalty kicks, assign on-field strategies, and participate in a variety of game modes Seasons, Tournament, and Ultimate Team to improve their soccer skills.




Gundam Versus

This is a fighting game in which players control large robot-like mobile suits as they engage in combat across arena-like battlefields. From a third-person perspective, players use swords, guns, and energy blasts in melee and ranged attacks against enemies. Battles can be frenetic and are highlighted by gunfire and frequent explosions. Game modes allow players to engage with waves of enemies, one-on-one fights, and team battles.

Total War: Warhammer 2

This is a real-time strategy game, based on the Warhammer universe, in which players fight for supremacy in a fantastical world. Players follow a storyline while commanding races and factions and engaging in diplomacy. From a top-down perspective, players arrange armies and fantasy creatures on the battlefield, giving commands and observing combat. Battles are highlighted by cries of pain, impact sounds, and depictions of bodies scattered on the battlefield. Cutscenes depict characters stalked and stabbed by assassins, with splashes of pink blood on the screen. Some creatures are depicted with bloody wounds during gameplay. The dialogue occasionally references suggestive material. Dialogue also references wine, ale, grog, and binge-drinking; one cutscene also depicts poisoned wine splashing from a goblet. This is a racing game in which players can drive a variety of realistic cars around international tracks. Players can progress in various game modes that include Career, Free Play, and Test Drive.

Echo
(PS4, PC)

In ECHO everything has consequence: The Palace creates Echoes. They behave like you and only do the things you do. So the way you play the game shapes your enemy. The game constantly reacts to your every choice and input. The Palace "reboots" every few minutes, resulting in a blackout. This blackout-cycle is the rhythm at which the "Echoes" get updated with your latest behavior, learning and unlearning from your actions. During the blackout the palace is blind, giving you the freedom to act without consequence. This is the time to run and gun and do all the things you don’t want the Echoes to learn.

Hidden Dragon Legend

Set in ancient China, Hidden Dragon: Legend challenges players to battle fierce foes, perform acrobatics to avoid obstacles and enemies, build their character through a deep, RPG-style skill tree and solve puzzles in the heat of battle. Players will utilize all their skills while engaging in hack and slash combat and unleashing stunning combos. To succeed in the game, players will navigate their way through tough enemies, powerful bosses and Metroidvania-style puzzles while building and customizing their fighter for their preferred style through an extensive skill tree.

Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite

This is an arcade-style fighting game in which players control characters from the Marvel and Capcom universes. Players use kicks, punches, throws, and special abilities to drain opponents' health meters in fast-paced two-on-two battles. Combat is highlighted by screen-shaking and slow-motion effects, cries of pain, and explosions. Small amounts of blood appear on zombie characters' faces and/or clothing. A succubus character is depicted wearing an outfit that reveals large amounts of cleavage and portions of her buttocks. In one fight sequence, a character drinks a bottle of alcohol, gaining extra experience points; he is depicted making dry-heaving motions. The word ass appears in the dialogue.

Video Game New Releases Sept. 12th 2017

Another week and more games coming out. This week is heavy in sports games. With 2 basketball game, one hockey and one soccer game, it is a good week if you like sport games. Here are the games coming out the week of September 12th 2017.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 (PES 2018)

(PS4, Xbox One, PS3, 360, PC)
Rating: Everyone
This is a soccer simulation game in which players control soccer teams from international leagues. Players can compete in a variety of modes (Training, UEFA Champions League, Master League) and improve their skills through practice shootouts and drills.



Divinity: Original Sin 2
(PC)
Rating: Mature

This is role-playing game in which players assume the role of heroes on a quest to rid the world of evil magic. From a 3/4-overhead perspective, players traverse fantastical landscapes and engage in turn-based combat to kill human enemies and fantastical creatures. Players use swords, staffs, spears, and magic attacks to defeat enemies. Weapon slashes, screams of pain, and large blood-splatter effects are frequently depicted during combat. This is a basketball simulation game in which players can select teams from real NBA rosters, compete in tournaments, and play through regular seasons. The game includes several cutscenes portraying the fictional lifestyles and narratives of players; some of these scenes involve bathroom humor: characters commenting on a man emitting flatulence and dialogue pertaining to a toilet appears in the dialogue. The word “bish” (slang for “b*tch”) appears in the dialogue.

Knack 2

This is an action-adventure game in which players help a golem-like hero protect the world from an evil goblin force. From a third-person perspective, players use use punches, jumping attacks, and various super moves to defeat human soldiers and fantasy creatures. As player progress through the game, Knack can grow in size to battle larger enemies including tanks, mechanized battle suits, and flying vehicles. The somewhat frenetic combat is accompanied by impact sounds and mild explosions. Some sequences allow players to battle giant robots from a first-person perspective.

Destiny 2

(PS4, Xbox One)
Rating: Teen

This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of a group defending humanity against an alien force. Players travel across futuristic landscapes and planets to battle a horde of alien creatures. Players use pistols, machine guns, rocket launchers, and various elemental weapons to kill enemies. Battles are frenetic and are accompanied by realistic gunfire and large explosions. Cutscenes sometimes depict dramatic spaceship battles and characters getting shot, electrocuted, and strangled.
