and Welcome to Parents Guide 2 Games. Here are the games coming out
the week of September 5th 2017.
Knack 2
(PS4)
Rating: Everyone 10 and
up
This is an action-adventure game in which players help a golem-like
hero protect the world from an evil goblin force. From a third-person
perspective, players use use punches, jumping attacks, and various
super moves to defeat human soldiers and fantasy creatures. As
player progress through the game, Knack can grow in size to battle
larger enemies including tanks, mechanized battle suits, and flying
vehicles. The somewhat frenetic combat is accompanied by impact
sounds and mild explosions. Some sequences allow players to battle
giant robots from a first-person perspective.
Destiny 2
(PS4, Xbox One)
Rating: Teen
This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of a
group defending humanity against an alien force. Players travel
across futuristic landscapes and planets to battle a horde of alien
creatures. Players use pistols, machine guns, rocket launchers, and
various elemental weapons to kill enemies. Battles are frenetic and
are accompanied by realistic gunfire and large explosions. Cutscenes
sometimes depict dramatic spaceship battles and characters getting
shot, electrocuted, and strangled. Splashes of red blood occasionally
appear on the screen when players are injured, and some creatures
emit splashes of black liquid when killed. Swear words are heard in
the dialogue.
Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle
(PS4, Switch)

Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle
is a bullet-hell battle game that takes place in the Touhou universe.
Take control of one of nine Touhou characters and eliminate your
opponent using bullet-hell patterns, melee attacks, or spell cards!
Featuring ear-tingling beats for each character, you might just find
yourself dancing while you play! Share your high score from Arcade
Mode and Score Attack Mode on the PlayStation™Network. Show off
your ability against skilled players from around the world! The game
also supports a local split-screen two-player versus mode! And of
course, that's in addition to a fully featured online battle mode!
Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth
(PS4, Vita)
Rating: Mature
This is a strategy role-playing game in which players help an
amnesiac hero regain his lost memories. From a 3/4-overhead
perspective, players explore the environment, interact with
characters, and engage in turn-based battles against enemy soldiers.
Players use swords, staffs, and magic spells to attack enemies;
damage is indicated by flashes of light and hit-point numbers. A
handful of sequences depict large bloodstains on the ground and
splashes of blood as a character slashes through an army of enemy
soldiers; large blood stains may also appear on the players' screen.
The game contains references to sexual material in the dialogue. Some
sequences and gallery images depict characters partially nude with
obscured breasts and buttocks; one prolonged sequence involves a
character losing her underwear/bottom and exposing her groin. Swear
words appear in dialogue.
Monster Hunter Stories
(3DS)
Rating: Everyone 10 and up

In Monster Hunter Stories, set off on
an adventure as a monster rider and bond with your monsters along the
way. Venture into monster nests to collect eggs and hatch a wide
array of species with uniquely powerful skills. Form teams, battle
alongside monsters, crush opponents with combo attacks, and ride into
the sunset a champion.
