Firewall: Zero Hour 


(PSVR)

This is a VR first-person shooter in which players assume the role of private military contractors through various missions. Players must fulfill their contract as either an attacker or defender by completing objectives and/or eliminating enemy threats. Players use machine guns, pistols, and explosives to kill opponents. Firefights are accompanied by realistic gunfire and large explosions; quick splashes of blood appear when characters are shot.


Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate 


(Switch)

Rating: Teen

Content Descriptors: Blood, Crude Humor, Mild Suggestive Themes, Violence

This is an action-adventure game in which players engage in hunting missions in a world filled with monsters. Players complete missions/quests and use swords, lances, bombs, and firearms to kill various creatures in frenetic combat. Battles are accompanied by impact sounds, cries of pains, and realistic explosions. Brief blood spurts appear as characters and monsters are injured. Players can equip female characters with revealing outfits that depict large amounts of cleavage. During the course of the game, players can throw “dung bombs” at enemies, resulting in depictions of greenish-brown clouds.


Pro Evolution Soccer 2019

This is a soccer simulation game in which players control soccer teams from international leagues. Players can compete in a variety of modes (e.g., Training, UEFA Champions League, Master League) and improve their skills through practice shootouts and drills.




Yakuza Kiwami 2 


(PS4)

Rating: Mature

Content Descriptors: Blood, Intense Violence, Sexual Themes, Strong Language, Use of Alcohol

This is an open-world action game in which players assume the role of a former Japanese gangster trying to keep peace between warring syndicates. Players explore parts of Tokyo and Osaka and engage in missions that often result in fistfights with thugs and/or rival gang members. Characters use knives, pipes, and swords during combat and can trigger scripted special attacks after successfully building up an attack meter. Combat is accompanied by screams of pain, large blood-splatter effects, and close-up camera angles. Cutscenes also depict intense acts of violence: characters shot in the head; characters gunned down inside an elevator; a man executed with a shotgun. The game includes sexual/suggestive material: a sequence in a video parlor in which players hear suggestive moaning sounds and dialogue; a mini-game in which players engage in a photoshoot and view videos of real women posing in revealing outfits—some clips depict camera angles that focus on models' cleavage and buttocks. During the course of the game, Kazuma can order and drink alcoholic beverages at various bars: players are rewarded for drinking in the form of experience points; a status icon denotes character's level of intoxication, while his movement becomes harder to control. Blade Strangers

This is a fighting game in which players compete in one-on-one matches against characters from classic gaming franchises. Players punch, kick, and use weapons to drain opponents' life meters. Characters also perform super attacks in which opponents are struck by meteorites, rockets blasts, and/or electrocuted by lightning strikes. Combat is accompanied by sword slashes, impact sound effects, and large explosions. Some attacks cause black blood-like splatters to appear on screen; one character's attack causes a door with red blood-like markings to appear. The game contains some suggestive material: dialogue about characters' breasts and/or lack of clothing; close-up camera angles of characters' jiggling breasts; female characters dressed in outfits that expose large portions of their breasts and/or buttocks. Swear words are heard in the game.


Divinity: Original Sin 2

This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of a hero on a quest to stop an evil called the Void. From a 3/4 overhead perspective, players explore the fantasy world of Rivellon, interact with various characters, and engage in turn-based combat against human enemies and fantastical creatures. Characters use weapon strikes and magic attacks to defeat enemies in combat; battles are accompanied by blood-splatter effects that stain the surrounding environment. Some areas depict large pools of blood amid human corpses and dismembered limbs. The game contains some sexual material: the central character can employ the services of a prostitute at a pub—no sexual activity is depicted, though the dialogue/text makes sexual references. Swear words areheard in dialogue.



Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker

This is an action-fighting game in which players compete to win the Ninja World League Tournament. Players complete missions gain ranks, and battle opponents in hand-to-hand combat. Players mostly punch, kick, and use various special attacks to defeat enemy ninjas and creatures in frenetic melee-style combat. Players can also use blades, scythes, throwing knives, and shurikens to inflict damage on characters. Battles are highlighted by large explosions, impact sounds, and cries of pain. Swear words are heard in the dialogue.

Hello and Welcome to Parents Guide 2 Games. There is only one game coming out the week of August 20th 2018.


Shenmue I & II
(PS4, Xbox One, PC)

Rating: Teen

Content Descriptors: Language, Mild Suggestive Themes, Simulated Gambling, Use of Alcohol and Tobacco, Violence

This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a teenage jujitsu artist seeking to avenge his father's death. As players travel around the city of Yokosuka, they can engage in missions, search for clues, and battle street thugs in hand-to-hand combat. Characters punch, kick, and throw each other during battles. Fights are highlighted by impact sounds and cries of pain. A handful of environments contain pinup posters or magazines depicting female figures in bikinis; one character is shown wearing a low-cut top that reveals large amounts of cleavage. Players are able to wager in-game currency on slot machines, as well as dice and roulette-style games. Characters are occasionally seen smoking cigarettes, and one scene depicts two men drinking from beer bottles and slurring their speech. Swear word appear in the dialogue.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth
(PC)

This is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in the imaginary lands of Azeroth. As players explore open-world environments, they can interact with characters, form alliances, and complete quests to “level up” their character. Quest objectives sometimes involve using magic and/or hand-to-hand combat to kill various creatures and at times non-adversary characters. Damage is indicated by slashing sounds, gunfire, explosions, and depleted life meters; some attacks result in splashes of blood and/or creatures bursting into small red chunks. During the course of the game, players' character can consume wine, mead, and other alcoholic beverages; drinking too much results in staggering/swaying and blurred screen effects. Players can interact with scantily clad characters, listen to suggestive dialogue/innuendo, or view provocative dance routines performed by elves and other player-characters. One quest requires players to search for specific creatures amid a landscape covered with piles of brown feces. Swear words occasionally appear in dialogue.

Overcooked! 2

This is a co-operative cooking game in which players prep, cook, and serve dishes to fill orders. Players compete in variety of game modes (Campaign, Versus, Arcade) while cooking in various locations, such as sushi restaurants and hot-air balloons.



Dead Cells
(PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC)

Rating: Teen

Content Descriptors:Blood and Gore, Language, Violence

This is an action-platformer in which players control a reanimated corpse trying to escape an island prison. From a side-scrolling perspective, players explore platform environments while engaging in frenetic melee-style combat against fantastical creatures. Players use punches, kicks, and gadgets to kill enemies. Enemies emit large splatters of blood when injured/killed and sometimes break apart into bloody pieces; blood also stains the floors and walls of some areas. Swear words appear in the game.


Madden NFL 19

This is a football simulation game in which players can select from real NFL rosters to play games of football. In one cinematic story mode, players follow the story of a hopeful player and can make dialogue/action choices that affect the narrative. The word “hell” appears in dialogue.


We Happy Few
(PS4, Xbox One, PC)

Rating: Mature

Content Descriptors: Blood, Strong Language, Suggestive Themes, Use of Drugs and Alcohol, Violence

This is an action/adventure game in which players assume the roles of rebellious citizens in an alternative 1960s England. From a first-person perspective, players explore Wellington Wells, interact with citizens, collect various items, and fight hostile citizens. Players use pipes, axes, bone saws, and explosives to attack and kill enemies. Combat is highlighted by splashes of blood and cries of pain. Some scenes depict corpses lying in pools of blood or hanging from nooses. In one sequence, characters can be seen inside a club wearing rubber suits and zapping each other with electric batons; characters are depicted making suggestive moaning sounds and caressing themselves when shocked. During the course of the game, players' character can ingest pills that cause hallucinations when overused; some areas also include hallucinogenic mushrooms and whiskey that cause screen distortion or discoloration when consumed.
