Crashes are a central element of the game, and realistic effects such as slow-motion replays, vehicle deformation, and detailed wreckage – for points – add to the overall intensity. While most vehicles do not depict human drivers in them, motorbikes feature human riders that do not appear injured after crashes. A description of a Custom Coupe car includes the term "big-assed."
