Five Nights at Freddy's is not a kids game. Think before you let your kids play or wear any FNAF merch.

I will try to stay off my soapbox but no promises.

I was walking around Target shopping for my two boys when I saw in the boys tshirt section a Five Nights at Freddy's tshirt.

Now it struck me a little odd to see that as I have played the Five Nights sereis and it is really not for kids. The worst was when I was in the toy isle I spotted Five Nights toys for kids even a plushy. I am going to give a little run down of the five nights.

The franchise is composed of five games. The first three games revolve around the player working as a night guard at a pizzeria (a horror attraction in the third game) similar to Chuck E. Cheese's and ShowBiz Pizza, in which they must utilize several in-game mechanics, most notably checking security cameras, to survive against animatronic/robots, which become mobile and homicidal after-hours. The fourth game, which is drastically different than its predecessors, takes place in the house of a child who must defend against "nightmare" versions of the animatronics by shutting doors and checking locations by moving around. The fifth game takes place in a Sister Location mentioned in the third game and the player character is a technician instead of a night guard who has to do different tasks as told by the voice you hear in the game.
It does not sound to bad, but it's the back story in all the games that is the most disturing and makes this game no for kids.

An employee in the golden animatronic/robots suit lured 13 kids to backstage and killed them. The employee then stuffs the bodies in the animatronic/robots. The spirits of the dead children then take over the

animatronic/robots. They take revenge on the workers for Freddy's. If you inculde the book Five Nights at Freddy's Silver Eyes the killer is creator of the animatronic/robots William Afton. Now in the 3^rd game their is only one animatronic/robot, the farther you get in the game you unlock mini games. In the last mini game it is shown the animatronic/robot that is hunting you has the killer in it.

I'm sorry if any of this distured, but you need to know what your kids are playing, wearing, and buying.
