Bubsy: The Woolies Strikes Back

This is a platformer game in which players assume the role of a cat who must rescue Earth's yarn balls from aliens. Players traverse platform environments, collect yarn balls, and defeat enemies by jumping on their heads. Boss battles contain somewhat more frenetic action, with UFOs shooting lasers or bursts of fire at Bubsy.

Steven Universe: Save the Light!
(PS4, Xbox One)

The game has a blend of real-time and turn-based combat, and more of a focus on exploration and puzzle-solving. Players will be able to explore Beach City and surrounding areas, and engage in battles with enemies. During battle, the players' actions, which include attacking and defending, will build up the star meter which allows the characters to pull off more powerful moves. A new feature allows characters to build up a relationship-based meter during battles and dialogue interactions; when filled, characters are able to fuse, such as Steven and Connie into Stevonnie.

Call of Duty: WWII 

(PS4, Xbox One, PC)

This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of an American soldier through the Allied campaign in Europe during WWII. Players use machine guns, shotguns, rocket launchers, and explosives to kill enemy soldiers; some weapon attacks result in decapitation and/or dismemberment, leaving bloodstains and body parts on the ground. Battles are frenetic and accompanied by realistic gunfire, screams of pain, and large explosions. Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon

Yomawari: Midnight Shadows

Separated by a mysterious attacker, each girl will explore haunting and bizarre locations, face the terrors of the night, and test their courage and wits to survive and reconnect with one another. The game contains dark thematic elements and depictions of violence: a dog hit by a truck; a girl run down by a train; a girl attacked and killed by ghostly apparitions. Road Rage

This is an action racing game in which players assume the role of a motorist navigating the streets of a fictional city. Players are tasked with taking down rival gang members by riding their motorcycles and using a variety of weapons to strike down other riders. Players use baseball bats, swords, pipes, shovels, and hammers to hit gang members and sometimes civilians. Successful hits are depicted with slow-motion effects as figures' bodies flail through the air. One area of the city contains neon signs advertising “Girls XXX.” Dialogue also contains some suggestive material/innuendo. Swear words appear in dialogue.

Assassin's Creed Origins

This is an action-adventure game in which players follow the story of Egyptian assassins tasked with taking down a secret order that threatens Cleopatra's power. Players use swords, arrows, concealed blades, and spears to assassinate targets and kill enemies in frenetic melee-style combat. Some cutscenes also depict intense acts of violence: a man beaten to death with an orb; a child getting stabbed. Assassinations and fights are highlighted by cries of pain and large blood-splatter effects. One sequence depicts human body parts and blood in a cave; another scene briefly depicts a headless corpse impaled on a stake. The game includes a mission involving prostitutes and a brothel in which a couple can be partially observed having sex. Super Mario Odyssey

This is an action platformer in which players assume the role of Mario as he embarks on a quest to rescue a princess from the villain Bowser. As players run and jump through themed 3D environments, they can hop on enemies' heads and/or use a cap to defeat them. Most characters react to damage with blinking effects, comical yelps, cowering gestures, or by turning into coins. During one boss encounter, players can capture a “cartoony” tank and fire cannonballs at a mechanical boss; large explosions are depicted as the boss is defeated. In another sequence, Mario lands several punches against a boss character; action is highlighted by impact sounds and screen-shaking effects. In a lunch-themed level, a giant bird-like creature spits out a trail of pink soup towards the player. 

Wolfenstein: The New Colossus

This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of an American soldier in an alternate universe where the Nazis won World War II. As players help B.J. and his comrades escape various situations, they use traditional and futuristic firearms to kill enemy soldiers and larger mechanized units. Combat is frenetic, with realistic gunfire, explosions, screams of pain, and large blood-splatter effects. Some weapons allow players to blow off enemies' heads or cut off their limbs; cutscenes sometimes show decapitations and/or acts of disembowelment. One scene briefly depicts a clothed couple engaging in sexual activity; moaning sounds can be heard before the couple appears on screen. A handful of scenes depict female characters with exposed breasts: a woman breastfeeding a baby; a woman's shirt getting torn off during a firefight. South Park: The Fractured But Whole

This is a role-playing game, based on the animated South Park TV show, in which players assume the role of a new kid in town embarking on an adventure to uncover an evil criminal element. Blood-splatter effects occur often, and cutscenes occasionally depict “cartoony” dismemberment or decapitation. This is a wrestling simulation game in which players select real-world competitors from the WWE roster, compete in matches, and progress through multiple storylines. Blood sometimes appears on wrestlers' bodies/faces after being struck repeatedly by objects. The Evil Within 2

Friday the 13th: The Game

This is an action-horror game, based on the Friday the 13th movie franchise, in which players engage in multiplayer matches as either Jason Voorhees or one of several camp counselors. Counselors may also protect themselves with shotguns, knives, and bear traps to momentarily stun and/or distract Jason. Large sprays of blood are shown when characters are attacked and killed. A brief cutscene depicts a wolf creature getting decapitated with a sword. In A Hat in Time you play as a tiny space-travelling girl with a big tophat. Her adventure is halted when all her fuel, the Time Pieces, is lost and scattered across a nearby planet. Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy
